I was given the brief to create and brand glasses. I chose to see how minimal I could make glasses, stripping them down to only the essentials, while keeping in mind my goals of making them androgynous and practical.

I was given the brief to create and brand glasses. I chose to see how minimal I could make glasses, stripping them down to only the essentials, while keeping in mind my goals of making them androgynous and practical.

I began by sketching and drawing forms that increasingly took more away from the traditional shape of glasses. After picking 3 forms, I modelled them in Rhino and printed prototypes to correct the fitting.

When asked why they had stopped learning a language, participants cited 3 shared answers.

Lack of motivation

Users felt stuck in their progress and eventually felt there was no point to continue learning

Comparison

Social media, both externally and within other language apps, hindered motivation

Users didn't find natural opportunities for immersion.

Inability to immerse in language

The final result consisted of a brand book, informational poster, and three models, both rendered and physical.
